I just wanted to follow up after our highly successful trip to the Eco Centre in August. We absolutely loved our visit with you and it led to a very exciting end to our term once we got back to school. Each of our junior classes started preparing for our ‘Junk to Funk exhibition’ in the last week of Term 3. We all brought in lots of junk from home and designed and then constructed a functional creation, complete with a label. Our classrooms turned into exhibition spaces and we invited our community in to view! So, thank you for your inspiration! It was a big deal to get 99 kids out and about but we are still talking about it. The adults were raving about it too and many left with new learnings! Hope to visit again sometime in the future.
