Seaweek Timaru invites our community to connect with our local moana — exploring what lives in and around our coastline and encouraging meaningful connections through recreational and educational experiences across nine days.
Thanks to the support of local businesses and community groups, a range of events are on offer, including waka ama, beach yoga and meditation, children’s activities, an Eco Talk, wellbeing beach walks, a rocky shore bioblitz, and beach clean-ups, plus activities running all week through libraries, the Eco Centre activity challenge, and Wuhoo Timaru.
